Our Story

🌿 From City Life to Farm Life: Our Story in Celeste, Texas

In 2018, our family made a decision that would change everything.

We left behind the fast pace of Dallas and moved to a small piece of land in Celeste, Texas. At the time, our goal was simple: give our children more space to run, breathe a little easier, and enjoy a quieter life.

We didn’t move out here to become farmers.

But somewhere between the open skies, the still mornings, and the responsibility of caring for land, something shifted.

🐓 Learning to Raise Our Own Food

Like many families, we started asking deeper questions about the food we were eating—where it came from, how it was raised, and what we were really putting on our table.

So we decided to try raising our own.

Chickens came first.

We’ll be honest—those early days weren’t easy. We had no farming background, no generational knowledge to lean on, and a lot to learn. Processing our own chickens for the first time was intimidating, and there were moments we questioned whether we could really do this.

But we stuck with it.

And then we tasted the difference.

That was the moment everything changed.

🌎 A Turning Point for Our Family—and Our Community

When COVID hit shortly after, it only reinforced what we were already discovering: where your food comes from matters.

Access to high-quality, responsibly raised food suddenly became a priority for many families—not just ours.

What started as a personal journey quickly became something bigger.

We realized we didn’t just want to raise food for ourselves—we wanted to help provide pasture-raised chicken and local farm products in Celeste, TX and surrounding North Texas communities.

🤝 Growing Through Community

In 2021, we joined the Rockwall Farmers Co-op, and everything expanded from there.

Through the co-op, we connected with other local farmers, small businesses, and families who care deeply about clean food, humane practices, and supporting local agriculture.

It reminded us that we weren’t alone in this.

Today, we continue to serve families across Hunt County and nearby areas, offering food raised with care, transparency, and intention. Our products are available through the Rockwall Farmers Co-op website, with local pickup options that make it easy for families across Northeast Texas to access fresh, responsibly raised food.

🌱 Farming With Purpose

While our farm has grown to include cows, goats, pigs, turkeys, rabbits, quail, and ducks, chickens remain at the heart of what we do.

We raise pasture-raised, corn-free, soy-free chicken in Northeast Texas using regenerative farming practices.

Our chickens are moved daily onto fresh pasture, allowing them to forage naturally while improving the health of the soil. It’s better for the land, better for the animals, and ultimately better for the families we serve.

Every step—from raising to processing, parting and labeling—is done by our hands, right here on our farm.

No shortcuts. No middlemen. Just honest food.
